Online Vs Offline Games

Games, be it single player or multi player, the graphics have always intrigued geeks and players worldwide. Online games may have a larger audience primarily because it facilitates multiple players play with or against each other simultaneously, they are known to have comparatively much better graphics and user console. However, the one big disadvantage of online games is that it requires an all-time Internet connection while downloadable offline games in your PC or PlayStation do not require this, maybe only a fixed amount of the memory system in your system, that’s all they ask for.

Epic Citadel by Epic Games is a popular mystery-adventure game which had its official release in the year 2017. A relatively older yet popular game is Devil May Cry 5(2013). This is the fifth instalment in the Devil May Cry franchise. This is the version of the game which wasn’t developed by the original developers (Capcom) and was developed by Ninja Theory. However, based on reviews, this is probably the worst game in the DMC (Devil May Cry) franchise. This one is a complete overhaul from the previous 4 games, with a completely new storyline having no connection to previous games. The protagonist of this game is Dante who is part Daemon and part human. So, how did THIS happen? Well, this game is set in a world where the Underworld is a real thing. The Daemon King, Mundas, tried to take over the human world but was opposed by the Daemon Knight, Sparda and he successfully locked away the underworld, with the real world locked out of their grasp. Sparda even fell in love with a human lady and they got married to each other.  There is a lot more to say about the intriguing storyline of this game, however I will resist my further temptation to give away more spoilers! It is a hack and slash game and the style of combat is quite unique. Unlike many of the hack and slash games which makes use of a combination of ‘light attack’ and ‘heavy attack’ to perform a number of combos, this one makes use of delay between attacks (using the primary attack button) to implement various combos. Along with that, there is a special attack which is used primarily to fling enemies into the air. Once the enemies have been flung then some other combos can be performed mid-air. This adds another layer to the combat system. When you start the game, you only have your sword and a pair of handguns as the weapons available. Dante calls the pair ‘Ivory’ and ‘Ebony’ in style. Enemies can be shot using the guns by simply pressing the shoot button, there is no need to aim the guns.

Overall, the gameplay is unique and the level designs quite unique. There are a total of 5 boss battles. Each boss battle is unique and compared to the overall level design, the boss battles are satisfactory.
